What's new — late May 2026
A batch of improvements shipped over the past week. Highlights:
Route map thumbnails 🗺️
Every feed now gets an auto-generated route map — a snapshot of your system with each route drawn in its own color. It shows on your feed cards in the dashboard, and as the link-preview image when you share a published feed (Slack, iMessage, X, etc.). Feeds with no route shapes get a clean placeholder, and thumbnails refresh automatically as you edit.
Timetable & editing
- The trip-name field in the Timetable now fills the full Trip column, so long trip IDs are readable.
- Routes with 3+ shape patterns now show a dropdown (instead of the two-way Direction toggle) under Routes → Stops and in the Timetable, so every pattern is reachable.
Validation that takes you to the problem
Clicking a validation issue for a trip or stop-time now jumps straight to the right calendar and direction in the Timetable — not just the route — so you land on the exact cell.
Sharing & discoverability
Tidied up how pages are indexed by search engines (dead URLs now return real 404s instead of soft duplicates), and feed links now show a map preview when pasted into chat or social.
As always: if something's missing or broken, post it here — we read everything.
